DuPont State Recreational Forest
DuPont is home to many multiuse trails frequented by mountain bikers, equestrians, and hikers.
In contrast to Pisgah, the majority of the trails in DuPont are fast, flowy, and without many technical features. The trails are well maintained, generally hold up to moisture well, and enjoyable for riders of all skill levels.

Difficulty Scoring for DuPont
Trail difficulty will vary depending on a rider's experience and ability levels. It is recommended that these be used as a baseline, but not a hard guide.
The trails in DuPont tend to be very approachable and with few traditional technical features, but new riders should be careful to watch their speed and stay alert for loose rocks and other trail users.
